Lebanon, that 10,452 Km^2, might be small compared to other countries … but the number of places that could be explored are infinite. Most of my time is spent going on roadtrips and camps with friends to discover the unseen beauty. From hidden beaches to hidden waterfalls, you will enjoy the breeze, the sound of the trees, and the smell of mother earth.
Explore. With you friends. And pets too 🙂

Jennifer, Sharing this article will turn these hidden beautiful beaches into crowded areas. Back in 2000, former MP Emile Emile Lahoud initiated a TV report about the beauty of Chouwwen lake. Since that infamous move this paradise location became a dump for unethical campers.
Jennifer Atieh, June 15, 2015
It's true, but i did not include the location for a reason. Only those who camp and adventuruous would be up to the challenge of desicovering those places. And those people have one good quality in them too, is that they know the value of Lebanon and they would clean up after them... But thank you for sharing for this comment, it's something that i had considered while writing this post :) Have an amazing day !!

True!! We went camping last week in chouwen it was similar to a Dumpster ! we had to move our camp site and hike for around 7 KM until we where able to find a suitable place for camping ! however good news has finally come , Jabal moussa bought the land surrounding the lake and now they are taking care of it , scout de liban have cleansed the entire lake ( based on the request of mahmiyet jabal moussa )and its surroundings and soon they will start collecting entry fees which i think its good , because the people cant value something unless they pay for it unfortunately

That's horrible and i had a similar expereince in summer. I went camping there with my scout friends, and on our way back we carried all the garbage bags with us in search of somewhere we could dispose them. Once we got to where we were parked there was a little kiosk of people who sell manoucheh and we asked them if they knew where we can dispose those garbage bags. They literally told us ' throw them here down hill, at night we burn them all' ! It was the saddest thing i heard! Concerning Jabal moussa that's great news! thanks for sharing! Honestly i would love to start an initiative to protect those places ..... Thank you Georges for sharing this with me !!

Jennifer Atieh, June 16, 2015
I can ask my friend abou Wadi el salib... i've never been.... and concerning sir jbeil it's really difficult to get there. My friend took us last year but it was a very confusing road with no signs, no directions, and people give us the right direction...! but i will get back to you about Wadi el Salib for sure!!
MIA, June 16, 2015
hiiiii , please share the location related to the 10th point where is that Sir Jbeil ?
Jennifer Atieh, June 16, 2015
It's in chouf, but impossible to give u an exact address. I went with someone who had been there, and there were absolutely no signs to follow whatsoever !!

This doesn't mean much to us readers if you don't post the exact location of those places (google maps would be fine)

Now i know where to go next!
Rima, July 1, 2015
Hello Jennifer, could please help me get to the falls of Sir Jbeil mentioned in your article? thank you :)
Jennifer Atieh, July 1, 2015
I wish Rima, But unfortunately i'm in Canada and it's impossible to give u directions in places like that. There are no street numbers and names, and i'm not very familar with the areas. I've been once with friends .... :( Sorry
Elias Makhoul, March 30, 2016
How can i get to the waterfall in jbeil? Where is it exactly? (it's #10 btw)
Jennifer Atieh, April 2, 2016
Dear Elias, Thanks for leaving a comment. This is not in Jbeil, Sir Jbeil is in Chouf!
