10 Reasons why you should adopt a kitten
I know, I know… we probably all had horrible experiences with cats. I must admit, most of them have an unpleasant attitude. I was one of those people who despised cats, or at least disliked owning one. I’m more comfortable with dogs. They’re fun, loyal, and at least they answer you when you call them. I never pictured myself doing it, but i ended adopting a cat a month ago, and so far i’m loving it!!
Kittens in foster homes are usually trained to do their private business in a litter box. That’s one big problem you would have to face with a dog! Since the first day that i got my kitten up until now, she never peed or pooped anywhere other than her litter box. Believe me, if you’ve owned a dog before, you’d know what a peace of mind that is!
Nop, not close to an attention Whore!
Kittens do not require as much attention as puppies. They will come to you when they want to be petted! Going to class or work is a very normal thing to do when you own a kitten, you can leave them home without even feeling bad or worries that they would get bored or feel lonely. They like to spend some time alone. They will probably play a bit after you leave and sleep until you come back. Dogs require your full attention every day. They can’t bear the idea of being alone, or being left behind. They would end up peeing on your bed of finding a way to revenge you leaving them home alone.
They stay indoors?!?! WHAAATTTT!
Kittens chilll! Literally, all day, all night! Yup…. It is preferable to keep a cat at home because it’s safer and healthier as well. Cats tend to run away, get hit by cars, get stolen, or get sick when they go outside. Especially that they have their litter box, they do not need to be walked 3 times a day! They can exercise indoors with a 15-minute play session twice a day!
Save water, Don’t shower!
Cats do not require you to wash them every couple of months. They actually lick themselves to clean their hair! All you need to do is comb their hair and cut their nails!
Adopting a kitten is not expensive! And it’s actually one of the best things you would ever invest your money in. Unlike dogs, they do not cost as much! When adopting them, they would already be sterilized, and vaccinated! All you’d have to do is buy them food and take them for a general check-up once a year!
Meoowing will not piss of the the neighbors!
One thing that’s really awesome is that you do not have to worry about getting your neighbors mad! Dogs tend to bark, but cats are very clam and go unnoticed and unheard!
A bestfriend for a lifetime? Why not!
Home will never feel empty again! It will give you a reason to wake up excited every morning and come back home at night! It feels good to be love and feel loved!
