Valentine’s Day Gifts
It’s this time of the year again! But with excitement comes worry too. You’re probably already thinking of a valentine’s gift to get to your significant other. Honestly, no one knows them better than you do. Well, i sure hope so. I’ve suggested a few romantic things for you to do; but, at the end of the day, Valentine’s day should not define your relationship or how much money you spend on this day. It’s the effort that counts, and most importantly the effort you put everyday.
Buy an equipment or gear for a specific sport or hobby
If they’re into a certain kind of sport or hobby, get creative and offer them something that would be meaningful and useful to them. What’s the point of spending the same amount of money on a shirt that they’ll wear only once!
Escape to the wilderness or do something exciting and fun
Not everyone chooses to go to restaurants on valentine’s or doing the Cliché stuff. The ones that prefer to spend their money on adventures and new experiences should do what they love most. Go dogsledding, camping, hiking, paragliding, iceskating, snowshoeing.(Depending on the country and season).
Road trip, Explore, and Create new unforgettable memories.
Sometimes the best plans are the ones unplanned!
Surprise them with a spa escape!!
Honestly i find spa’s overrated and pretty-damn-expensive for what they’re worth! But if this is something that you need or find the need of doing every once in a while, then go for it! Spend the day getting pampered and spoiled together, hopping from a Jacuzzi to a sauna.
Take them out for dinner or ‘cook-in’ their favourite meal
As we say in French, ‘C’est le geste qui compete’. Meaning, it’s the thought that counts. Some couples prefer to keep it simple and glamourous. You can either take them out to their favourite restaurant, or to one that has a romantic setting and vibe, or you can surprise them even more by cooking their special meal. Wink, wink …XoXo 😉
Get 2 Love birds in a love cage or adopt a pet
Sometimes love can be expressed in many other ways. You don’t have to be materialistic to impress your partner. Adopting a pet is the sweetest thing one can do, but only if the partner is an animal-lover and is capable of taking care of the pet. Getting love birds is very symbolic and romantic. The lovebirds can not survive without one another, and this should reflect you’re relationship. It’s a thoughtful idea and adds a different vibe to your home. It’s a constant reminder of your relationship.
Don’t over stress about it, it’s just a day to boost up the economy!
Happy Valentine’s day <3
