This Sunday I got the opportunity to have brunch at a cute restaurant on St. Laurent street facing Juliette et Chocolat. The place is amazing honestly; it is filled with exquisite vintage decor! During the day it operates as a restaurant and then it turns into a bar at night.
Regardless of how amazing the place looks, the service was slow and the food did not meet our expectations. Since their brunch menu is limited, we figured the taste would exceed our predictions. I had an ‘ Omlette à la soupe d’oignon ‘ (Omelets with onion soup), and a refreshing blueberry smoothie with banana. My sister ordered a plate of toasts topped with guacamole, tomatoes, peppers, and eggs. Her dish tasted good, but it’s really basic.
When we decided to give the desert a try, they told us that they had run out of them and they had nothing else to offer. I’d still give their lunch menu a try and definitely come back for drinks.
